Managing your customers
Every order from your online store or the POS builds a customer profile automatically. This guide shows you how to read your customer base, follow each customer’s purchase history, and use segments to decide who deserves your attention today.
On this page
1.The customer database
Open “Customers & CRM”, then the customer database: a profile is created by itself with the first order — from your online store or the POS — with no manual entry from you.
- Search by name, phone number or email.
- Every customer shows total spend, order count and last visit.
- Spend is counted from completed (non-cancelled) orders minus returns.
2.Automatic customer segments
YallaBuy classifies your customers automatically: “VIP”, “Regular”, “New” and “At risk” — with the count for each segment sitting right above the list.
3.Customer profiles & order history
Press any customer to open their file in the same screen: contact details next to their recent orders, with a “View full Customer 360” link when you want the complete picture.
4.Quick lookup inside the POS
While checking out in the POS, type the customer’s name or phone number into the search box and attach them to the current sale — their profile, spend and order history update automatically.
5.Smart segments & custom segments
The customer segments page holds two kinds: “Smart segments” — ready-made classifications computed on the server with each count in front of you — and “Custom segments” you build yourself.
- Combine numeric conditions such as: order count, total spend and last visit.
- Build a segment on top of a stored one — for example “VIP” customers whose last visit is getting old.
- A segment is saved under a name and re-evaluated on the server: one definition, identical everywhere.
